Evaluation In Teaching English At MIN 1 Samarinda

This research was under the guidance of Dr. Bahrani, M.Pd as the first supervisor and Mrs. Dra. Sitti Hadijah, M.Pd as second supervisor. The evaluation process provides benefits understudy development in the educating and growing experience. It is necessary to measure a student's developmental progress, both in terms of their individual learning process and their place in group activities. Educators should know about this on the grounds that overall understudies come to class with various capacities, there are understudies who rapidly figure out the learning material, however there are like the individuals who are somewhat sluggish. By knowing ahead of time what their students are doing, teachers can assess their students' abilities and growth during the learning process. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how english teachers evaluations are implemented but also this research also wants to know the form of assessment and implementation of follow-up evaluation of English language learning at MIN 1 Samarinda. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this research were English teachers at MIN 1 Samarinda. Data collection was carried out using three instruments, namely observation, interviews and documentation. In this research there are three component namely data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusion The results of the research are as follows, The researcher discovered that there were two types of evaluation of English language learning that went well: one that was done at the end of the lesson and one that was done at the end of the semester. This research shows that EFL teachers have carried out authentic assessments in which There are three kinds of assessments that are carried out: paper and pen tests which require paper and pen, performance assessments which assess language skills through review of material and the like, finally product assessment to see reports on student learning outcomes as a form of implementation and implementation of English language assessment or evaluation. So far these results show that English teachers prepare themselves successfully conducting evaluations of English language instruction at MIN 1 Samarinda,in preparing and analyzing assessment questions for students, in order to enhance implementation in order to achieve standard values that have been determined and are not yet fully understood by students by using certain steps.
